Move2Work is a social bike workshop with premises in Thun and Interlaken. We offer: • Servicing and repair of customer bikes • A wide selection of (reconditioned) second-hand bikes • A large stock of second-hand parts • Rental bikes (Interlaken site) We do not repair e-bikes or sell new bikes. The creative studio produces and sells: • Various decorative items • Leather accessories • Magazine racks • Lamps • And much more About us Move2Work is a project run by the Swiss workers’ aid organisation SAH Bern for professional and social integration of welfare recipients and the unemployed. Participants gain practical experience through active involvement in all work processes and thus have an opportunity to enhance their manual and creative abilities, while acquiring skills in the field of bicycle mechanics. All the while, they are supported by specialised job attendants. In this way, participants are given a chance to assess their capacity to work, develop career prospects and prepare for entering or re-entering the workforce. Our services We will gladly repair your bicycle – or sell you the necessary parts if you wish to repair it yourself. Or is it time to replace your bicycle? Bring us your old bike and buy a suitable reconditioned second-hand one. Our lovingly designed decorative items and utility objects are ideal as gifts or for personal use.
