SDIS Etraz-Région provides fire protection, rescue services, and emergency response for the Aubonne area and surrounding municipalities. The organization is made up of professional and volunteer firefighters, equipped to handle various incidents such as fires, accidents, and natural disasters. The Etraz Region Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS Etraz-Région) brings together the forces of several municipalities in the region, representing a large and diverse local population. Established as an inter-municipal association, SDIS Etraz-Région acts every day with dedication, professionalism, and proximity to ensure the safety of residents. Our organization is structured around: • First Response Units (DPS) located in Aubonne, Rolle, Gimel, and Bière • Support Units (DAP) in Longirod and Gilly, with specialized sections • An internal training school dedicated to initial and continuous firefighter training Comprehensive and rigorous training At SDIS Etraz-Région, training is a top priority: from respiratory equipment use to heavy vehicle driving, including fall protection, advanced technical exercises, and emergency vehicle operations, every firefighter receives thorough and progressive instruction.
