In the regional office in Aargau, more than 150 employees are involved in various projects and courses. The courses offered are primarily aimed at adult migrants. They are based on the latest methodological and didactic findings and adapted to the specific needs and realities of the participants. Our courses offer people with a migrant background access to continuing education and therefore to life in Switzerland. Our team is committed to helping our course participants with enthusiasm. ECAP Aargau offers a wide range of German language courses at various levels as well as integration and vocational training projects for foreign-language adults. An up-to-date overview of our training offer can be found in our course programme . Our main activities are: • Intensive German courses • German courses in the evening and on Saturday in Aarau, Baden and Rheinfelden • Integration courses Basic Skills 1 • Integration courses • Reading and writing: Literacy courses in German • German for companies • Branch-oriented German courses • Labour market measures on behalf of the AWA • Computer courses We are also an accredited examination center for telc certifications and fide test. As a general bookstore, we place a special emphasis on Francophone and translated literature , while leaving room for quirky literary gems and our staff picks . With us, the atmosphere is simple, warm, and authentic — a bookshop “like when you were young,” with a reading corner to settle in, a children’s area to browse peacefully, and personalized advice to help you leave with the right book. Our story We opened our doors in Rolle in 1987 . The bookshop has grown over the years thanks to a passionate team and the loyalty of local readers. In August 2022 , we began a new chapter: Laure Paccaud , a Rolloise who returned after ten years abroad, took over the bookshop of her childhood. The adventure continues with family and our team, in the same spirit: closeness, curiosity, and the desire to share books that make you feel alive. Our mission today is the same as yesterday: to be a human-scale , responsive, welcoming bookstore, able to combine major new releases with unexpected discoveries.
