Because we are, so to speak, the cosmetic doctors for sheet metal patients and are delighted every time we restore dented car bodies, bonnets with hail damage or scratched car doors to their former - or better - new splendour. In the meantime, state-of-the-art computer programmes support us in our daily work. Nevertheless, it is still the trained eye that makes the difference between ‘good’ and ‘excellent’ work. For example, warped sheet metal requires a sure instinct, as the material is sometimes only 0.4 to 0.8 mm thin.
