My name is Ernst Hug. I am 51 years young, married to Therese and together we have four boys. I originally come from the Appenzell region.

Between 1986 and 1989, I trained as a painter. In the years that followed, I worked for various painting companies.

In spring 2005, I founded my own company in Gümligen, where I ran the business for the first three years.

Since we were later looking for a house that offered space for the painting business as well as family, we found what we were looking for in the beautiful Emmental in Dürrenroth. After renovating the house in spring 2008, I continued my business at the new location.
