Coiffeur Vontobel

Over 60 years ago, Max Vontobel Senior dropped the first hair on the floor of Coiffeur Vontobel. Together with his wife Amalie, they started with a men's salon. Later, a women's salon was added. The couple worked well into their 80s. Their daughter Marlis also followed in her parents' footsteps and began working in their salon after completing her apprenticeship. Her sister Monika made a name for herself as a hairstylist in New York. Their son Max also learned his parents' profession. After his father's death, he worked in the men's salon for several years until the end of 2018.
In 1996, Marlis' daughter-in-law Claudia Baldinger joined the business and they worked together until the end of December 2019. At the age of 73, Marlis took her well-deserved retirement.
Claudia Baldinger and Tanja Brooks have been running the business since January 2020.
