We focus our attention entirely on those in need in our society. We respond to different situations of need with coordinated services. These cover three areas: providing shelter, offering support, and helping people move forward. Getting started should be as easy as possible. The goal is social integration.

Transparent structures

We are subject to foundation supervision and are audited annually by a renowned auditing company. Furthermore, we have been meeting the strict requirements of Zewo (Swiss certification body for charitable fundraising organizations) for years and bear the seal of approval. The Sune-Egge Hospital bears the Rekole seal of approval for its operational accounting.

Meaningful partnerships

We work with the following partners: for donations in kind with the Ancora-Meilestei Foundation, for food with the Christuszentrum association and Schweizer Tafel. In our daily work in our businesses and facilities, we collaborate with public bodies, government agencies, authorities, clinics, and numerous private institutions and companies.

Committed employees

Currently, around 180 employees are committed to helping people in need. They do so with heart, hand, and mind, in a hands-on and professional manner.

Indispensable volunteers

Without volunteers, many low-threshold services would not be possible. Over 350 volunteers regularly work in our Pfuusbus and Iglu emergency shelters, in the Brot-Egge clothing store, in the Sunestube street café, at the Sune-Egge hospital, in the Sunegarte care station, on the night patrol, and in the distribution of food from the Swiss Table.

Loyal donors

We work for people whose needs are not covered by the public social welfare system. Although we have been able to steadily increase our income from billable services in recent years, around 40% of our total work still has to be financed by donations.
