Schulmuseum
Foundation in Amriswil
Located in the historic Mühlebach schoolhouse of 1846 (a rare rammed-earth 'Pisé' construction), the Schulmuseum in Amriswil is the first of its kind in Switzerland. It offers a fascinating insight into the school history and culture of past centuries. The centerpiece is an authentically preserved classroom from the 1920s. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum features a workshop, a seminar room, a school garden, and a collection of over 20,000 objects.
