When mind, body, and soul work in harmony, the result is perfect health and natural life-affirming intelligence.
In my practice in Kleinbasel, I combine proven traditional healing knowledge from China with Western openness. At nayandei, you will receive serious and competent health-promoting and preventive treatments based on the complementary medical methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
In my work as a TCM therapist, I preserve the integrity of your individual being and use the classic methods of Chinese medicine to balance your qi energy and xue blood. Put simply, every illness is based on a disharmonious pattern of yin and yang, which must be remedied.
Based on a detailed consultation, as well as pulse and tongue diagnosis, a differentiated diagnosis is made according to the concept of Chinese medicine. This provides information about your illness and constitution and determines the selection of the appropriate therapeutic applications for you. TCM methods support your body's self-healing processes. In my practice, I use
. I use these methods to support you on your path to health. Depending on the clinical picture, I combine different methods to positively influence the course of treatment.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a qi-balancing therapy that specifically stimulates or calms organ systems. After a detailed diagnosis, fine needles are placed on selected acupuncture points on the body's surface, where they take effect. On average, 4 to 12 acupuncture points are stimulated.
Ear acupuncture
This method is a special form of body acupuncture. All areas of the body can be found as reflex zones in the ear. As with body acupuncture, individual zones are activated using very fine needles. Permanent needles can be used to support your system in addition to the treatments, e.g., hay fever.
Chinese herbal medicine
Chinese medicines are individually formulated for each patient according to their energetic imbalance. These are boiled down and taken in the form of a decoction. For easier intake, dosage forms such as granules, capsules, ointments, or drops are available.
Moxibustion
In this method, selected acupuncture points or meridians are heated with glowing mugwort (Chinese: Ai Ye, Latin: Artemisia vulgaris). Mugwort can be used in various forms, which allows for different applications, such as needle moxa, rice grain moxa, or indirect moxa on a slice of ginger.
Tui Na therapy
This method is one of the oldest TCM therapy methods. Tui Na combines highly effective massage techniques, acupressure, and chiropractic techniques. Various techniques are used, such as Tui (pushing) and Na (grasping). The aim is to harmonize the life forces by regulating the flow of Qi and Xue. Special oils or massage towels are used during the massage.
Cupping & Gua Sha
So-called cupping glasses are heated by a small flame, creating a vacuum. The glasses are placed on the desired acupuncture points and remain attached to the skin.
In Gua Sha, a porcelain spoon or similar instrument is used to scrape an area of skin several times until a clear discoloration becomes visible.
Where does TCM help?
