Because I grew up in the Allgäu region, I moved to Basel as part of my studies. I completed my ophthalmology training at the University Eye Clinics in Basel and Bern. What fascinates me about ophthalmology is the extreme versatility of this specialist field. I find both the variety of medical issues and the encounters from infants to the very elderly very enriching in my work.
