Welcome to the website of Petra Hampel, practice for psychological counseling in the old town of Basel! My interdisciplinary practice strategy, which I have developed over 30 years of practicing as a non-medical practitioner and psychotherapist, means that I focus on people and their needs and requirements. Because the question is: what do we have to do, what can we do?

My counseling is non-therapeutic psychology (not covered by health insurance) and does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment. I do not offer a hodgepodge of theories, but a holistic concept that has been tried and tested over many years and has grown from 30 years of professional experience.
