In 1931, several members of the Swiss AVIA Federation decided to create an AVIA petroleum products company to establish a nationwide distribution network (fuel, combustibles, and lubricants). In 1959, the AVIA brand established itself in French-speaking Switzerland with AVIA DISTRIBUTION SA, which expanded in 2005 with the takeover of the petroleum activities of the family-owned companies Aegerter in Gland, Durussel Combustibles in Nyon, VEZ in Ecublens, Pully, DUBATH Combustibles in Yverdon, and RIVIERA Produits Pétroliers in Vevey, along with our partners Fath, Kocher, Lehmann-Stein, Mages, and Pariat Combustibles.

We distribute to private customers, property management companies, industries, cantonal authorities, and craftsmen. We supply all grades of fuel that comply with the latest Swiss standards (SN) for unleaded 95 and unleaded 98 gasoline , diesel fuel, and various grades of heating oil, including EURO fuel oil, ECO fuel oil, ECO plus fuel oil , and EXTRA-VERT® fuel oil.
