AlTENO AG offers engineering services in the planning of solar systems, photovoltaic systems and heating and ventilation systems. We have been focusing primarily on renewable energy and energy efficiency since 1987. We plan and optimize the operation of complex building technology systems in industry, gastronomy and homes (retirement and nursing homes). We plan wood heating systems (wood chip or pellet heating) and combine these with solar systems and wood-burning stoves. In the field of ventilation, we specialize in the use of heat recovery and comfort ventilation. We plan small, medium and large solar power systems.

Minergie
We plan for all Minergie standards (Minergie-A, Minergie-P and Minergie-ECO). We calculate thermal insulation thicknesses to achieve the standards  and advise on the use of insulation materials (including windows). Heating and ventilation systems are designed with a view to minimizing electricity consumption, using renewable energies and sustainable building materials.

Energy efficiency programmes and CO2 reduction
We advise groups of large consumers (hotels, car dealerships, etc.) with the aim of consuming less energy and reducing CO2 emissions.

Energy consulting
We advise municipalities and institutions on reducing energy consumption. We plan and calculate savings programs or funding measures and help with their implementation.
