The PaSiWo restaurant is an idyllic, lively family business run with passion, located on Kasernenplatz in the heart of Basel. We offer freshly cooked Mediterranean cuisine and are also available for events, aperitifs, and much more. You are welcome to take a digital tour of our beautifully decorated restaurant here on our website. About us

The Wolf family has been in the hospitality business since 1977 and ran the Restaurant zum Wurzengraber on Messeplatz for 41 years. When the construction of the Claraturm came up for a vote in 2007, the Wolf family took precautions and secured a second source of income. In 2018, the time had come and the move to the former Bläsitörli took place, but the Wolf family wanted to give the new restaurant a personal touch. That's why the restaurant was renamed PaSiWo. The name is made up of the owners' names. The result is an idyllic, lively restaurant in the heart of Basel, for everyone!

At Restaurant PaSiWo, you will find a variety of Mediterranean and classic dishes, as well as a selection of exquisite wines from our wine cellar. Whether you're looking for a small Aperol or a fine five-course menu, we have something for everyone. Upon entering the restaurant, you will be greeted by a rustic, traditional atmosphere with an open kitchen that allows you to participate in the action. If required, you can also enjoy our excellent service in our beautifully renovated cellar, which is ideal for meetings and smaller parties of up to 30 people.
