Conservative treatments

Surgery

Your needs will be taken into account as far as possible during surgery. The procedures can be performed on an outpatient or inpatient basis. The length of the inpatient stay is kept as short as possible.

Shoulder

• Arthroscopy: injury to the labrum (SLAP lesion) in cases of dislocation, impingement, wear and tear of the acromioclavicular joint (AC arthrosis), calcific tendinitis (tendinosis calcarea)
• Surgery for tears of the rotator cuff or biceps tendon

• Joint replacement (shoulder prosthesis) in cases of joint wear (omarthrosis) or irreparable damage to the rotator cuff (inverse prosthesis)

Elbow

• Arthroscopy for loose bodies (corpora libera) in the elbow joint

• Surgical repair and stabilization of upper arm fractures (osteosynthesis) and dislocations

Hip

• Minimally invasive joint replacement (endoprosthetics) for joint wear (arthrosis)
• Revision and/or replacement of loosened endoprostheses

• Surgical repair and stabilization (osteosynthesis) of the hip and thigh

Knee

• Knee arthroscopy with surgery on the meniscus (suture, partial removal), cartilage (Pridie drilling, microfracturing, AMIC), ligaments (cruciate ligament replacement)
• Partial replacement (hemiprosthesis or sliding prosthesis) of the inner or outer knee joint (Oxford)
• Joint replacement (endoprosthetics) with uncoupled, partially coupled, and coupled prosthesis systems for osteoarthritis of the knee joint
• Individual endoprosthetics with "Signature" (preoperative MRI/CT required)

• Revisions and/or replacement of loosened endoprostheses
• Surgery for localized cartilage detachment (osteochondrosis dissecans)
• Axis realignment for bow legs (genu varum) and knock knees (genu valgum)
• Surgical fixation and stabilization (osteosynthesis) of the knee and lower leg in cases of bone fracture

Upper ankle joint and foot

• Arthroscopy of the upper ankle joint (OSG)
• Surgical treatment of acute or chronic instability of the upper ankle joint
• Surgical realignment and stabilization (osteosynthesis) of the ankle joint and foot in cases of bone fractures
• Joint-preserving therapy of the upper ankle joint using "autologousmatrix-induced chondrogenesis"(AMIC)

• Fusion surgery (arthrodesis) of the upper ankle joint
• Correction of malpositions of the forefoot (hallux valgus) and toes (claw toes, hammer toes)
• Surgery for gradual (tendinopathy) or acute tears of the Achilles tendon (Achilles tendon rupture)
