FRIGO AG was founded in Bern-Bümpliz in 1947 and has specialized in reliable refrigeration and air conditioning systems for trade and industry for over 70 years. In 1975, with the purchase of the former Wera AG - Lüftungsanlagen, the ventilation department of Frigo AG was added. In addition to the planning and execution of ventilation systems, this expansion also enabled the integration of ventilation and refrigeration requirements in the field of air conditioning technology.

The ventilation department of FRIGO AG has now been operating as a legally independent company under the name FRIGO AG LÜFTUNG since January 1, 2021. There are no legal changes at FRIGO AG, which specializes in refrigeration and air conditioning technology. The two companies have concluded a cooperation agreement.

In recent years, more and more customized and individual air conditioning systems, split air conditioning units and multi-split air conditioning systems have been installed, both for private applications and for commercial and industrial purposes.

The Biel-Bienne-Seeland service center was opened in March 2017 to enable us to be on site even more quickly for our customers in Seeland and Jura as well as in the city and region of Biel/Bienne.
