Cold milling is one of the first steps in maintaining roads or traffic areas. There are three different types of cold milling:

• Maintenance: minor structural measures to preserve the substance

• Repair: major structural measures to preserve the substance and improve surface properties

• Renewal: complete restoration

The milled surface forms the basis for the construction of new layers. Its quality therefore also determines that of all new surface layers and subsequent work. Surface layers of uniform thickness are only possible with a level, profile-compliant milling result. REPROAD achieves this by modifying milling machines with the latest technology: lasers, 3D models, or ultrasound allow precise height control of the evenness in the longitudinal or transverse profile, even in difficult situations. This avoids costly reworking, such as the installation of subsequent asphalt leveling layers.
