WEGER VENTILATION UNITS

The visually appealing, elegant housing construction consists mainly of a stable aluminium frame profile, which is anodized as standard due to the large proportion of deliveries to the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. This profile is also supplied with thermal decoupling.

The double-walled panels are edged inside and out with 1 mm sheet metal. The wall thickness is at least 40 mm. Mineral wool with a density of 60-80 kg/m is used as standard, although foam insulation free of fckw can also be supplied on request at no extra cost. The panels are thermally decoupled.

The panel sheets can be manufactured in all different materials:
Galvanized, galvanized and coated (color of choice, RAL or NCS), V2A, V4A, ALU anodized, etc.

The standard colors offered are RAL 5021 water blue or RAL 7035 light grey.

The units are adapted to the place of use and installation or the structural conditions at no extra charge.

RC GUARD

Description

The "ThermoGuard" is a heat exchanger that can freeze without damage:

If the heating system fails, the pipes freeze first in the area of the finned surface. The resulting "ice plugs" in the pipes are pressed into the pipe bends, creating very high pressure. The pipe bends are torn apart. With the RC GUARD, all pipe bends are connected with a capillary tube and routed to the flow in an insulated, built-up housing. The pipe bend area is also insulated. If the pipes freeze, the water in the pipe bends can escape through the capillary tubes. Without pressure and with a time delay due to the insulation, the pipes will freeze. The water pressed out can escape via a pressure relief valve installed in the flow. After a few minutes, the entire register is frozen, but without damage.

Important note:

• If the hydraulic piping is installed internally in a monobloc, the lines must be insulated
• When installing in an external roof unit, the pressure relief valve must be fitted internally, in the direction of air flow after the heat exchanger!
• The pressure relief valve must be checked once a year!

On request, we can deliver the devices carriage paid to the ventilation center. The units are assembled by RC Klimatechnik fitters.

If required, we can also provide you with just one person to help your own installation staff assemble the units.

For helicopter deployments, our unit separation points are determined according to helicopter type and optimized accordingly in a cost-effective manner.
