WEGER VENTILATION UNITS

The visually appealing, elegantly designed housing construction essentially consists of a sturdy aluminum frame profile, which is anodized as standard due to the large proportion of deliveries to the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. This profile is also supplied with thermal decoupling.

The double-walled panels are enclosed on the inside and outside with 1 mm sheet metal. The wall thickness is at least 40 mm. Mineral wool with a density of 60-80 kg/m is used as standard, although CFC-free foam insulation can also be supplied at no extra cost on request. The panels are thermally decoupled.

The panel sheets can be manufactured in a variety of materials:
Galvanized, galvanized and coated (color of your choice, RAL or NCS), V2A, V4A, anodized aluminum, etc.

The standard colors offered are RAL 5021 water blue or RAL 7035 light gray.

At no extra charge, the units are customized to fit the application and installation location or the structural conditions.

Description

ThermoGuard is a heat exchanger that can freeze without damage:

If the heating system fails, the pipes first freeze in the area of the finned surface. The resulting "ice plugs" in the pipes are pushed into the pipe bends, creating very high pressure. The pipe bends are torn apart. With RC GUARD, all pipe bends are connected with a capillary tube and led to the flow in an insulated, built-up housing. The pipe bend area is also insulated. If the pipes freeze, the water in the pipe bends can escape through the capillary tubes. The pipes will freeze without pressure and with a time delay due to the insulation. The water that is pushed out can escape via a pressure relief valve installed in the flow pipe. After a few minutes, the entire register is frozen, but undamaged.

Important note:

• If the hydraulic piping is installed internally in a monobloc, the pipes must be insulated.
• When installing in an external roof unit, the pressure relief valve must be installed internally, in the direction of air flow after the heat exchanger!
• The pressure relief valve must be checked once a year!

On request, we can deliver the equipment free of charge to your ventilation center. The equipment is assembled by RC Klimatechnik fitters.

If required, we can also provide you with just one person to help your own installation staff assemble the equipment.

For helicopter operations, our equipment separation points are determined according to helicopter types and optimized accordingly to be cost-effective.

We actually leave this to our customers (ventilation installers).

However, our service personnel are available for warranty work or special cases.
