The Physio Sousa Freitas practice has been open since September 2020 and offers treatments at the practice and at your home.

Physiotherapy is a paramedical discipline that employs movement with the aim of strengthening, maintaining or restoring the body's functional capacities and relieving pain.

Through its specific skills, physiotherapy seeks to promote people's autonomy in daily activities.

Physiotherapy is for anyone, man, woman or child, who requires care and advice in the event of:

• Trauma (fracture, dislocation, sprain, muscle tear...)

• Rheumatic disease (osteoarthritis, polyarthritis,....)

• Surgical operation

• Musculoskeletal and inflammatory pain (tendinopathy, herniated disc,...)

• Pelvic-perineological disorders (incontinence, constipation, prolapse,....)

• Paralysis (hemiplegia, accidental paralysis, cerebral palsy, poliomyelitis)

• Circulatory affection (arterial, venous and lymphatic)

• Cardio-respiratory affection (chronic bronchitis, asthma, aftermath of myocardial infarction)

Note: Physiotherapy performed on the basis of a medical prescription by a recognized physiotherapist is reimbursed by basic health insurance under the usual deductible system (LAMAl). The same applies to accident, invalidity and military insurance.

Above all, physiotherapy is covered by the basic health insurance system.
