Otto Scerri SA, Castione, and Otto Scerri & Cie. SA, Lostallo, joined our company in 1973 and 1974, respectively. We operate throughout the canton of Ticino and in Mesolcina (Italian-speaking Grisons). Our strengths, gained from many years of experience, lie in civil engineering, building construction, and road construction.

Underground construction / Tunnels
Tunnel construction is one of the most risky and demanding tasks in the construction industry. Whether in loose material, rock, or groundwater, more and more tunnels are being built for infrastructure purposes. Thanks to decades of experience in all areas of tunnel construction, our specialist engineers and advance teams, as well as a modern tunnel inventory, we competently cover all areas of construction, both conventional and milled.
We have milling machines with diameters of up to 12 meters, equipment for prefabricated elements (tubbing), and various special inventories that enable us to construct any tunnel independently, competently, and with optimal efficiency.

Road construction
Road construction is one of the most important areas of Mancini & Marti SA's business, offering comprehensive solutions. From asphalt construction to drainage and noise barriers, we carry out our work with skill and experience. We have carried out various projects and renovations on motorways, cantonal and municipal roads, as well as for private individuals. Our road workers have many years of experience and are constantly updated and trained in various construction techniques. With the addition of logistics specialists, we are able to renovate high-quality road works with traffic present in a precise and competent manner.

Renovation/protection of buildings/restoration
During the design phase of new works, we consider their protection. We also propose such measures for existing structures and infrastructure such as bridges, tunnels, canals, etc. There are many reasons why protection or even restoration is necessary, including uniqueness, atmospheric influences, and aging. Special challenges are the restoration of ancient works and facades. It is necessary to understand modern craftsmanship and know how the materials of past generations were applied. Only in this way can a structure be renovated effectively, cost-efficiently, and in keeping with the historical model.

In this field too, we have experience in both the production and processing of high-quality concrete. Supported by a quality system, we can guarantee reliable execution for all our customers.
 
Specializations
Mancini & Marti SA has further specializations in the field of construction throughout the Ticino region. In partnership with other local companies, we produce and sell asphalt thanks to two production plants located in Sigirino and Castione. Thanks to these synergies, we can consider ourselves among the leaders in the region.
Within the company, we have a carpentry workshop, which works almost exclusively for the group.
Our inventory includes 40- and 110-ton mobile cranes, which are also used for third parties.
