In 1974, Otto Scerri SA, Castione, and Otto Scerri & Cie SA, Lostallo, joined the Mancini & Marti SA group in Bellinzona. The company's areas of activity include earthworks, the production and sale of aggregates, and transport. We operate mainly in the Ticino region and in Mesolcina (Italian-speaking Grisons).
 
Otto Scerri SA has four plants for the production of gravel and aggregates. They are located in Castione, Biasca, Giornico, and Lostallo (Mesolcina).

Civil engineering
Since the company was founded, this has been one of the Marti Group's core areas of expertise. Our activities range from excavation work and pipeline construction to work on waterways, the construction of various types of foundations, land modeling, and the construction of railway tracks. Hydraulic constructions in general
Anyone wishing to carry out work on, in, or under water requires qualified personnel with expertise in hydraulic construction, as well as a large fleet of special floating equipment. This equipment and these facilities are based at an operations center in Arch with direct access to the water and can be deployed throughout Switzerland. Our ships transport excavated and crushed material from large construction sites near the shore. With a load capacity of up to 1,300 tons and automatic unloading systems, we can transport large quantities of fill material economically. Thanks to our floating platforms, push tugs, and crawler excavators, we also have the appropriate equipment for sinking piles on the shore, the targeted and environmentally friendly immersion of inert material, and for lifting operations on the water.

Workshop
As a logistics center, the workshop handles material deliveries and provides well-defined support for construction site needs: for example, a workshop and a complete fleet of machinery, a flexible carpentry shop for the construction of formwork, and a modernly equipped metalworking shop for all steel and metal construction support (structures, emergency bridges, etc.) to the maintenance of tools and vehicles. All this thanks to efficient organization at the right time and in the right place.
