Centre Artistique du Lac

The Centre Artistique du Lac is an arts development center for children, teenagers, and adults, offering classes in music, dance, theater, and painting, as well as regularly producing shows and concerts.
The CAL is a non-profit association supported by the municipality of Collonge-Bellerive and the municipalities of Arve and Lac, with nearly 600 students and more than 30 qualified teachers.
The CAL has been awarded quality certification by the Department of Public Education.
Its artistic and educational objectives are:

• Optimizing interactions between different disciplines (multidisciplinary performances)
• Develop children's creativity and imagination
• Encourage students to perform in public several times a year
• Seek personalized teaching and adapt to the student's pace
• Offer formative, non-selective evaluations of students' work
• Encourage ensemble music

Group classes:

Dance: Introduction and beginner classes, classical dance (ballet), modern dance and jazz, musical theater, hip hop

Theater, painting, musical awareness from age 3, music theory, choir workshop, jazz/rock workshops

Individual classes:
"Classical": Piano, violin, cello, flute, harp, singing, guitar, flamenco guitar
"Contemporary music": piano improvisation, saxophone, singing, guitar, bass guitar, drums, saxophone
