Le Bus Magique has been in existence since 2005, offering the opportunity to learn contemporary music in a group setting, led by professional musicians.

Created according to students' musical level and age (from 11 years old, teenagers or adults), workshops focus on listening and memory, allowing greater freedom of interpretation and requiring no prior musical knowledge (except for drummers and guitarists).

Sharing music, listening to others while playing yourself, having the pleasure of composing or reproducing well-known pieces, discovering a new musical style or learning to find your bearings, your place, in a piece while playing it, are the basics of these workshops.

Workshops take place every day from Monday to Friday. The exact schedule for each workshop is decided according to the availability of each member of the said workshop, and is finalized during the first 2 weeks after the start of the school year, as soon as the musicians know their hourly availability.

During the year, the musicians are given the opportunity to work on their own schedules.

During the school year, progress is constant, and the groups perform on stage at evenings organized by the Bus Magique or at public events (music school festival, fête de la musique, etc...)
