SECUNDA – the first choice for your 2nd pillar
Our services at a glance:
- SECUNDA Collective Foundation manages occupational pension plans for its clients in accordance with BVG regulations; it is listed in the occupational pension register.
- SECUNDA Collective Foundation not only offers personalized service, but also demonstrably progressive, social, and fair pension solutions for small to medium-sized and large companies.
- Thanks to our efficiency, we are able to keep our administrative costs very low at 0.4% of the insured salary.
- Instead of a spouse's pension, we pay a partner's pension for married couples and life partners.
- Contributions are invoiced to customers quarterly in arrears.
- Contributions to the security fund are financed from investment income, which is greatly appreciated by the accounting departments of our affiliated companies.
- The conversion rate on non-mandatory savings capital corresponds to the BVG conversion rate; we do not charge any additional premiums for this.
- The interest rate on savings capital also corresponds to the interest rate set by the Federal Council for the non-mandatory portion.
- Individual regulatory risk benefits (e.g., in the event of death or disability) are provided by SECUNDA Collective Foundation in cooperation with external providers.
- The security of the investment capital and benefits is guaranteed by several control mechanisms: internal controls, the external control body BDO Visura AG, a federally certified pension fund expert, and the supervisory authority of the canton of Aargau.

Occupational pension provision – the principles The aimof occupational pension provision is to enable people to maintain an appropriate standard of living after retirement or in the event of disability. In the event of death, the same applies to survivors. As the second pillar, occupational pension plans are an important supplement to the first pillar, the AHV/IV. The Occupational Pension Plan Act (BVG) regulates a minimum standard, according to which the pensions from the first and second pillars together should cover 60% of income. The third pillar allows individuals to supplement their pension provision. However, the tax-privileged contribution is limited. We see occupational pension provision as an important piece of the puzzle in conjunction with the first and third pillars.
We look forward to hearing from you.
