The Peter bakery has been running its business in Oetwil am See since August 1986. Initially, the team consisted of 6 people. In August 1999, the bakery relocated to Egg for space reasons and in the winter of 1999/2000 the store underwent a complete renovation. Since April 2000, Bäckerei Peter has presented itself as a modern, innovative business that plays an important role in village life.

On July 1, 2009, we took the next step and took over the Cavallino pastry shop in Egg.
In addition to the traditional Ruch and Halbweiss breads, our range includes 10 different special breads every day as well as the popular Schoggibrötli and four different types of croissant. Our Bircher muesli is also a big hit, and our customers no longer want to miss out on our wide range of sandwiches. Our products are made fresh every day and are popular with young and old alike. People like to meet at our coffee bar and enjoy our wide range of sweet pastries, teas and our patisserie. For parties of all kinds, we are also happy to supply various cakes in any size and our popular party bread in any desired size and shape. Our range includes snake bread, filled sandwich bread, aperitif pastries, etc.

The Peter Bakery attaches great importance to seasonal products (Easter bread, vermicelles, doughnuts, strawberry tarts). Our products enjoy an excellent reputation and our sales team is always praised for its friendliness.

The team now consists of 35 people including apprentices and part-time employees. We attach great importance to friendliness and courtesy when serving our customers.
