My name is Eia Escher. My decision to pursue a career in medicine was motivated by my desire to work with people and share knowledge about constructive and health-promoting topics. I completed my studies in physical therapy in 1985 and earned a postgraduate degree in sports physical therapy in 2004. After investing 30 years in my family and my personal and professional development, I founded my own practice in 2008. In order to meet the new challenges of a management position, I decided to study Leadership & Management at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in 2013. The Institute for Applied Psychology there was the most suitable educational institution for this. After graduating, I felt a growing desire to pass on my newly acquired knowledge to interested individuals and managers. This is how the idea for "Immensional" came about—a practice that supports people who find themselves in challenging life and/or work situations. Leadership is a demanding and energy-intensive field of activity. The balance between mental and physical needs on the one hand and professional and private demands on the other must be found and maintained.
