Restaurant la MATZE

Our restaurant is cleverly placed in the heart of the city of Geneva  just a few steps from the Cornavin train station. The exact address is 7 rue Chaponière, a well-known street in Geneva that's almost entirely reserved for pedestrians. You can park either in the square, in the Gare parking lot or in the well-known Parking des Alpes  also in Geneva.

As its name suggests, the restaurant is typically Valaisan. The new management has created a very Valais decor that will let you discover a little of the Canton with the VS acronym. The chef offers specialties that follow the seasons, using fresh produce from nearby markets.

We are passionate restaurateurs who like above all to offer quality service but in a relaxed family environment. We have a beautiful sunny terrace which is a great addition to family evenings around a good meal! The name of the restaurant has a definite history too! Our entrecôteMatze is one of our specialties. It's a recipe of our own! We're sure you've never eaten meat like this! We also make house-made pizzas! It's a popular must-try dish, and the pizza you'll eat at our place will truly be made on the spot! From Pizza marguerite to Pizza Diabolo to Pizza Sicilienne or Pizza Brusquetta, you'll be spoilt for choice! We also offer " La Chasse " in season. We also offer our customers a variety of quality wines to accompany our dishes. We offer red, white, rosé and Portuguese wines.
