Welcome to La Cave Valaisanne & Chalet Suisse!
Founded in 1960 by Armand Dumoulin, La Cave Valaisanne & Chalet Suisse is a fine example
of a wonderful family tradition.
Today, our restaurant symbolizes the warm welcome and quality service
that have made Swiss hospitality so renowned.
Together with his wife Rosa, Armand managed and developed his business with pride and passion
to make it an essential stop on the Geneva restaurant scene. His son Bernard
Armand joined the team and gradually took over the management around 1975 with
the same enthusiasm. Quickly supported by his wife Julia and aware of the importance of this
heritage, they will perpetuate and enhance these family traditions in their turn. The decor will
became more sophisticated, the menus and flavors more refined, and the specialties more varied, much to the
great satisfaction of customers. A beautiful shaded terrace on Belá Bartók Square will
enhance the comfort of guests in summer.
From January 2023, the restaurant will be managed by Hervé and
his wife Sophie, representing the third generation at the helm of this establishment.
The Cave Valaisanne & Chalet Suisse welcomes you between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., 7 days a
week.
