Founded in 1960 by Armand Dumoulin, La Cave Valaisanne & Chalet Suisse is the very example
of a fine family tradition.
Today, our restaurant symbolizes the warm welcome and quality service
that have made the reputation of the Swiss hostellerie.
With Rosa, his wife, Armand will manage and develop his business with pride and passion
to make it a landmark in Geneva's restaurant scene. His son Bernard
Armand joined the team and gradually took over management around 1975 with
the same fervor. Quickly supported by his wife Julia, and aware of the importance of this
heritage, they will perpetuate and sublimate these family traditions in turn. The decor will
be more demanding, the menus and flavors more refined, the specialties more varied, to the
greatest satisfaction of customers. A lovely shaded terrace on the Place Belá Bartók will
adorn guests' comfort in summer.
From January 2023, the restaurant will now be managed by Hervé and
his wife, Sophie who represent the third generation at the helm of this establishment.
La Cave Valaisanne & Chalet Suisse welcomes you between 9:00 and 1:00 am, 7 days a
week.
