Taillé Philippe

In 1989, artisan baker and pastry chef Philippe Taillé, alongside his wife Joëlle, took on the challenge of taking over the Strasser family bakery, which had opened in Cologny two centuries earlier. To meet the demanding requirements of a clientele seeking quality and expertise, Mr. and Mrs. Taillé renovated their establishment, redesigning the shop and laboratory and creating a new tea room.

His constant efforts and dedication to his business were rewarded: in 2001, Philippe Taillé received the Label-Qualité award, which he has since renewed three times in a row. He was subsequently awarded a star by the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Bon Pain (Brotherhood of the Knights of Good Bread) and the Club Prosper Montagné prize. Philippe Taillé is currently an expert examiner for bakery and pastry apprenticeships and is responsible for vocational training for the Canton of Geneva. He also sits on the cantonal committee and the Romandy committee.

Philippe and Joëlle Taillé have passed on their passion for their business to their only child, Stéphanie. At just 23 years old, she already manages two shops, in Carouge and Florissant.
