Taillé Philippe

In 1989, alongside his wife Joëlle, Philippe Taillé, artisan baker and pâtissier, set himself the challenge of taking over the Strasser family bakery, which had opened in Cologny two centuries earlier. To meet the exacting demands of a clientele on the lookout for quality and savoir-faire, Monsieur and Madame Taillé renovated their establishment: refurbishing the boutique and laboratory and creating a new tea-room.

His constant efforts and involvement in his business have been rewarded: in 2001 Philippe Taillé received the Label-Quality award and has renewed it, from then on, three consecutive times. Subsequently, a star from the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Bon pain as well asthe Club Prosper Montagné prize were awarded to him. Philippe Taillé is currently an expert in bakery-pâtisserie apprenticeship examinations and responsible for vocational training for the Canton of Geneva, and also sits on the cantonal committee and the comité romand.

And a passion for bread.

And the passion for their business, Philippe and Joëlle Taillé are passing on to their only child, Stéphanie - aged just 23, she is already the manager of two stores, those in Carouge and Florissant.
