The Geneva Chamber of Notaries holds a Permanence in the Old Town every Thursday.

Everyone can benefit, without prior appointment, from a personalized consultation, which will be invoiced at Fr. 60.-.

The purpose of the Permanence is to analyze a given situation and provide, in all areas falling within the competence of notaries, legal and tax opinions or advice.

In principle, the consultation will not exceed thirty minutes.

The Permanence does not authenticate signatures ("legalisations") or documents ("copies conformes").

It does not draw up notarial deeds, draft deeds or attestations.

The Permanence does not enter into matters concerning complaints about invoices or requests for provisions drawn up by a notary; these complaints fall within the remit of the President of the Chamber of Notaries.
