Products from our own farm

In addition to the Alte Post restaurant, we also run a 10-hectare farm with around 8 cows, 3-4 young cattle and 6 goats. Our main barn is in Grindelwald on Oberäll, in the direction of Bussalp. We have installed solar panels on one half of the roof there, with which we produce around 20,000 kWh of renewable energy per year.

In summer, the cows are on the Bach alp, where the milk is processed into alp cheese. In winter, we water the bull calves with the milk to produce veal for our restaurant.
