Since 2005, the Siloah Laser Center has been successfully expanded with the opening of a dermatology institute. This has not only strengthened expertise in the field of dermatology and laser medicine, but also in the field of medical aesthetics. In particular, operative dermatology and aesthetic surgery have become the focus of attention thanks to the collaboration between a skin surgeon and plastic surgeon. Thanks to the modern surgical facilities at the practice clinic, major surgical procedures such as liposuction, laser lipolysis, eyelid surgery, S-lifting or hair transplantation can also be performed on an outpatient basis under high safety conditions.

Outpatient and inpatient operations
As a surgical center, we have a modern practice operating theatre with laser equipment, in which we mainly perform outpatient procedures under local anaesthetic. In addition, we can also use the operating room and bed capacities of the affiliated Klinik Siloah for major procedures under general anesthesia.

Operative dermatology (skin surgery)
All minor and major skin surgery procedures are performed professionally. We work with modern radiofrequency and laser technology to support this.

Skin cancer surgery
We are particularly specialized in tumour surgery; also in cases that require lymph node removal and/or plastic defect coverage. For complicated tumor operations, we like to work with the method of microscopically controlled surgery, which works like a frozen section. A significant advantage for the patient is that we can diagnose the tumor promptly and perform a reconstruction in the same surgical session.


Skin transplantation
In special cases, it may be necessary to transplant the patient's own skin as Reverdin flaps, split skin or full-thickness skin.



Sweat gland liposuction
A minimally invasive surgical procedure under local anesthesia (similar to liposuction) can stop the annoying increased sweating in the armpits once and for all.

Botulinum toxin injections
For the treatment of mimic wrinkles in the face and neck area. The mimic muscles of the face can create characteristic mimic wrinkles or emphasize them in such a way that they disturb the overall impression of a person, for example frown lines.
In addition, excessive sweating in areas such as the armpit area can also be reduced by specifically blocking the cholinergic stimuli on the sweat glands.

Wrinkle injections
Facial ageing is associated with wrinkling, loss of contour or volume deficits. The cheek, mouth and lip areas are often particularly affected. We use biocompatible filling substances such as hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxyapatite, agarose, autologous fat and plasma gel (from autologous blood) to inject wrinkles. Liposuction under local anaesthetic (tumescent technique)
Particularly suitable for liposuction are areas of the body (abdomen, hips and thighs, neck) that remain problematic even after intensive weight loss. The procedure is most often successfully performed using a tumescent technique (local anesthetic technique) in combination with a vibrating cannula. The fat cells are permanently removed.
Recently, a new laser method called "laser lipolysis" has been added to our repertoire, which can be performed alone or in combination with the proven suction technique. A fine laser fiber is guided under the skin into the fatty tissue under local anaesthetic and a defined amount of laser energy and heat is released. This can be used to specifically melt away fat in circumscribed problem areas and even tighten sagging skin. It is particularly interesting to use this new method on sagging upper arms or in the neck area.

Abdominoplasty
