Three departments provide counseling, support, care, and, in some cases, accommodation for people in personal and/or financial emergencies.

Social services
(social services, asylum support, adult protection unit)

• Contact point for people with financial and/or personal problems

• Organization and provision of financial assistance and personal support. Restoration and promotion of financial and social independence.

• Accommodation, support, and assistance for asylum seekers

• Support and representation of individuals in various areas of responsibility ( KESB guidelines)

 

Social secretariat

• Processing of cases for the social welfare authority

• Support for members of the authorities (specialist control of individual dossiers)

• Confirmation of social assistance receipt

• Administrative support for social workers

• Managing reception and telephone registration process

 

Social insurance

• Processing of AHV/IV and supplementary benefit applications

• Processing of applications for nursing care cost contributions

• AHV branch office

• Health insurance office
