Description
CHÈVRE DE BERNE
Goat's cheese is a delicacy that is a real treat for many a gourmet lover. Goat's cheese is produced & consumed all over the world. Because the "poor farmer's cow" does not necessarily need grassland to produce milk.
So over the last few thousand years, different types of cheese have developed. For example, the "feta" sheep or goat cheese.
The " Le chévre de berne" is surrounded by a rind that is only 3 weeks old. Without much goat flavor, the pleasant aroma is surprising. Directly under the rind, the cheese paste is partly viscous. In the cheese core, however, it is dry and firm. This makes "Le chévre de berne" a hearty treat for the palate.
