EMS La Sombaille has been part of the Fondation des établissements cantonaux pour personne âgée (FECPA) since its creation in 1973.

Located in the north-east of the town of La Chaux-de-Fonds, EMS La Sombaille is a place where 121 elderly people currently stay, requiring geriatric, psychogeriatric and specialized psychogeriatric long-stay support.

The support offered aims to give meaning to the lives of those accommodated, while respecting their rhythm. This support is designed to be personalized and is led by a committed, qualified interdisciplinary team trained to evolve together so that daily life does not become the usual.
