Centre Igokat

The Centre Igokat has 3 very different areas of excellence: a dance school, a company and a production house.

After having traveled many stages around the world during their careers, Igor Piovano and Kathryn Bradney ex-first dancers and ballet masters of the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, put their passion together to train young and old in a friendly setting called: Centre Igokat (contraction of Igor-Kathryn).

The dance school
The Igokat center offers several dance programs.
Depending on your age and interest, you can enroll in an introductory, training or personal development program. All courses are open to both men and women.

Igokat features 3 spacious studios, the first created in 1953 to house the Boris Kniaseff International Dance Academy the "Master of the Stars", Here he created his famous barre à terre, and in 1954 Serge Lifar, of Paris Opera fame, took over the studio and delegated direction to his comrade Nicolas Zvereff (Diaghilev's Ballets Russes).

The Compagnie Igokat
The Compagnie Igokat was born in 2007 under the impetus of directors Igor Piovano and Kathryn Bradney, ex-first dancers and ballet masters of the Béjart Ballet Lausanne for 19 years. Ten dancers of different nationalities, from Italy via Belgium to the USA and Switzerland. A neo-classical company where contemporary and classical techniques come together in perfect harmony.

Igokat Film Productions
Igokat Film Productions was born out of a realization: the majority of show films don't do them justice. It's very difficult to reproduce the atmosphere and history of a performance. Igokat Film Productions was created to fill this gap and bring a more artistic vision to a technical process.

Specialists in the world of live entertainment, we put our extensive knowledge of staging at your service to ensure that your videos retain the magic of the live event, even on screen.
