Psychologist, FSP psychotherapist in Lausanne and Nyon
I am Paul Jenny, a psychologist and FSP psychotherapist based in Lausanne. I work in private practice and offer individual, couples, and family counseling. These services are recognized by most supplementary insurance providers.
As part of my training recognized by the Swiss Federation of Psychologists (FSP) – the Swiss body that recognizes the training of psychologists, which requires basic university education, postgraduate studies, and regular continuing education – I trained in systemic psychotherapy and am particularly fond of brief therapies. I also practice Ericksonian hypnosis and coaching, which I can use in the sessions I offer.
Through my caring approach, I invite you to activate your potential for growth and use your resources to deal with any situation that requires adaptation or change, or to achieve a personal goal. The sessions allow us to develop a rapport, which is key to helping you better understand your situation, develop empathy, and see your problem in a different light so that you can more easily overcome it. You are the main actor because only you hold the key to change. As a professional, my role is to help you find it through attentive listening, targeted questions, feedback, and observations. It's a different way of perceiving what you are experiencing. For example, were you not aware of this?
Let's build strategies that will enable you to change!
