• Biography
  • Dr Stéphane Dominguez: Graduated from the Lausanne Faculty of Medicine in 1999. Trained in general surgery from 2000 to 2005 at Hôpital de Lavaux and then at Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (HUG), enabling him to acquire skills in digestive, urological, paediatric and orthopaedic surgery. After an 18-month stint in the surgical department of the Hôpital de Morges, he returned to the HUG, where he deepened his training in digestive surgery (Prof P. Morel) and proctology (Dr Bruno Roche), joined the Task Force for new surgical technologies and acquired expertise in minimally invasive surgery. Opening of a surgical practice in Lausanne in October 2011.

What we do

• We take care of all problems relating to general and digestive surgery. Sometimes a simple course of medication is enough. If an operation proves necessary, various options are available: in-office treatment under local anaesthetic, outpatient surgery (departure on the same day as the operation) or inpatient surgery (hospitalization for 1 to several days). In some cases, multidisciplinary management is required, and we are in contact with recognized specialists in various fields (radiology, gastroenterology, oncology...)
