February 13, 2022 | Daniela LupiWe have been in business since 1951, first as a sole proprietorship and later as a public limited company called Cassina SA. Today's CassinaTech SA has inherited all of its current know-how from this company: reliability, competence, experience, precision, and professionalism.
Our main activities are the installation of suspended ceilings, plasterboard structures, partition walls, raised floors, plastering, thermal/acoustic insulation, and fire protection. We have a wide range of clients: homes and apartments, banks, insurance companies, art galleries, public bodies, restaurants, and hotels.
We use versatile products that allow for a high degree of customization and give architects and designers the widest possible range of solutions for your projects.
We have always been committed to updating our technical knowledge, studying and researching the most cutting-edge trends in our sector. The solid foundations of our tradition complement the constant innovation that propels us towards the future.
Plasterboard is an extremely flexible and environmentally friendly product used in the construction of partition walls, false walls, false ceilings, and much more.
Plasterboard sheets, consisting of a layer of gypsum enclosed between two sheets of cardboard, are suitable for constructing straight or curved surfaces. They are fireproof, water-repellent, and, thanks to their thermal resistance, are the ideal companion for insulating panels because, when used as false walls, they are the solution to problems of humidity and condensation.
Plasterboard structures are quick and easy to build at low cost, offer excellent acoustic and thermal insulation, can be modified and customized without difficulty, and boast an elegant and striking aesthetic.
Interior walls are open systems, meaning they can be modified and integrated to suit the needs of the environment in which they are to be installed. In addition to dividing space, today's walls have another fundamental function: to conceal and protect the technology inside them, such as wiring and electrical systems.
An efficient internal partition system must be characterized by its ability to be equipped, restored, moved, and relocated.
Equipped walls are the best choice for offices and laboratories, as they allow the space occupied by professional equipment to be optimized and rationalized, leaving the work environment freer and tidier. Thanks to the sound-absorbing material they are made of, the walls help reduce noise pollution in situations where many workers are operating.
Solid or partially glazed walls are the recommended solution for private environments where privacy is required. If, on the other hand, you are looking for space and brightness, fully glazed walls will allow you to enjoy natural light to the fullest, making them the ideal choice for open-space configurations that give a feeling of freedom and well-being.
Suspended ceilings have always been a characteristic feature of our interiors. Normally, we think of this element as a covering, almost always horizontal, whose task is to resize rooms by lowering the ceiling.
Today, thanks to the discovery of new materials and technologies, false ceilings not only perform their "traditional" function, but also improve the acoustics and brightness of the room, revolutionizing the concept and role of the ceiling.
The materials used reduce reverberation and noise levels, while increasing speech intelligibility. The great ability to exploit indirect light allows you to make the most of natural light.
The latest generation of panels are composed of several layers of mineral fiber, formed and curved during production, with a transparent acoustic membrane on the visible sides.
The flexible suspension system allows the panel to be moved for maintenance or simple cleaning.
Insulating a wall from the inside offers greater flexibility than working from the outside, as changes can be applied only to the affected areas of the surface (walls with critical exposure, individual dwellings, etc.).
Furthermore, since the work is carried out from inside the building, it is not necessary to apply for permits (apart from condominium consent if work is to be carried out on common areas) and no scaffolding is required for the work.
Panels
The intervention is carried out by overlaying the wall surface with panels consisting of three layers: one of insulating material (glass wool, expanded polystyrene, extruded expanded polystyrene, polyurethane foam), an aluminum sheet that protects against moisture, and a 12.5 mm thick gypsum board. The panels are fixed to the wall using a metal structure that acts as an anchor and support.
Limitations of internal insulation
This type of intervention undoubtedly improves the insulation capacity of the wall, with all the advantages mentioned above. However, it should be borne in mind that by installing the panels on the inside, the wall remains exposed to the outside temperature. In the winter months, the heated interior, protected by the insulating layer, may come into contact with a much colder wall: this could lead to condensation, causing problems related to humidity such as mold, plaster detachment, etc. The solution to this problem is to insert a plasterboard infill wall between the wall and the insulating panel.
The fire protection system consists of a series of highly fire-resistant components and materials, certified for the construction of various structural elements (walls, counter walls, false ceilings, cladding, protective barriers, and ventilation ducts), which maintain the advantages of dry systems and are therefore suitable for use in all situations.
The basis of the fire protection system is the quality of the coated gypsum boards: gypsum has natural fire resistance characteristics that are enhanced by the addition of glass fibers, vermiculite, and perlite.
These completely natural materials allow even higher levels of efficiency to be achieved.
Fireproof plasterboard cladding, which offers the widest range of solutions certified according to Swiss and European standards, is constantly being updated and developed to meet market requirements.
Raised flooring is a system of modular elements designed for the construction of interior and exterior flooring in buildings. It is a lightweight, entirely dry construction system that allows for the creation of a continuous technical space under the walking surface to house all the building services: electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, etc.
Thanks to its flexibility of use, speed of installation, and variety of coverings, this type of technology is ideal for both new and existing buildings and is also very effective in outdoor flooring.
CassinaTech SA, thanks to its considerable experience in the sector, offers raised flooring solutions with excellent performance in terms of resistance and durability, remarkable aesthetic value, and extensive customization options, as well as total integrability with other technical finishes such as movable walls and false ceilings.
Gypsum is a material with many qualities: it has good adhesive power, is fire-resistant, thermally and acoustically insulating, easy to work with, and allows for fine, smooth surfaces.
All these characteristics make it not only a fundamental element in plasterboard and insulating panels, but also an essential ingredient in plasters for smooth wall finishes, floor substrates, wallpaper, and much more.
Its smoothness allows for refined and elegant aesthetic effects, and its versatility is able to meet the needs of architects, interior designers, and private individuals.
This fantastic material is the specialty of CassinaTech SA, which offers all types of plastering work, from interior wall plastering to finishes of various standards, ranging from Q2 to the high-quality Q4 class carried out under grazing light, guaranteeing impeccable, high-level execution.
Decorative stucco is the touch of class for those who want to make their environment unique and refined. Our stuccoers, true specialized craftsmen, carry out decorations with great attention to detail and with the highest quality materials, knowing how to satisfy both nostalgic customers who love traditional stucco and those who are looking for more modern forms.

ho richiesto un piccolo intervento di ca. 1/2 h e mi sono trovato con una fattura di più di fr. 500, con un sacco di causali tipo "supplemento lavoro urgente" e con arrotondamenti di ore eccessive.
