CassinaTech SA – Contacts & Location
Description
We have been in business since 1951, first as a sole proprietorship and later as a corporation named Cassina SA. From this, today's CassinaTech SA has inherited all its current know-how: reliability, expertise, experience, precision and seriousness.
The main activities are the execution of lowered ceilings, plasterboard structures, partition walls, technical floors, plastering work, thermal/acoustic insulation and fire protection. Our target audience is wide: homes and apartments, banks, insurance companies, art galleries, public institutions, restaurants and hotels.
We employ versatile products so as to enable many customizations and allow architects and designers the widest possibilities of solutions for your objects.
We have always been committed to updating our technical knowledge, studying and researching the most cutting-edge trends in our industry. The solid foundation of our tradition complements the constant innovation that propels us into the future.
Plasterboard is an extremely flexible and environmentally friendly product used in the construction of partition walls, counter walls, false ceilings and more.
Plasterboards, formed by a layer of gypsum enclosed in two sheets of cardboard, are suitable for the construction of straight or curved surfaces. They are fire-retardant, water-repellent, and thanks to their thermal resistance, they are the ideal companion to insulating panels since, when used as curtain walling, they are the solution to moisture and condensation problems.
Plasterboard structures are made easily, quickly and inexpensively, offer excellent acoustic and thermal insulation, are modifiable and customizable without difficulty, and boast an elegant and impactful aesthetic performance.
Interior walls are open systems, that is, they are suitable for modification and integration to suit the needs of the environment in which they are to be inserted. In addition to subdividing space, today walls have another fundamental function: to conceal and protect the technology inside, such as wiring and electrical systems.
An efficient interior partition system must be characterized by equipability, restorability, mobility, and relocatability.
Equipped partitions are the best choice for offices and laboratories, as they make it possible to optimize and rationalize the space occupied by professional instrumentation, leaving the work environment freer and tidier. Thanks to the sound-absorbing material they are made of, the walls help reduce noise pollution in situations where many workers operate.
Blind or partially glazed walls are the recommended solution for confidential environments where privacy is required. If, on the other hand, space and brightness are sought, fully glazed walls will allow maximum enjoyment of natural light, constituting the ideal choice for open space configurations that give a feeling of freedom and well-being.
The suspended ceiling has always been a defining element of our interior spaces. Normally, the idea one has of this element is that of a covering, almost always horizontal, whose task is to resize rooms by lowering the ceiling.
Today, thanks to the discovery of new materials and new technologies, suspended ceilings not only perform their "traditional" function, but also improve the acoustics and brightness of the room, revolutionizing the design and role of the ceiling.
The materials used, reduce reverberation and noise level, while increasing the intelligibility of speech. The great ability to take advantage of indirect light, allows you to take full advantage of natural light.
The state-of-the-art panels are composed of several layers of mineral fiber, formed and curved during production, with a transparent acoustic membrane on the visible faces.
The flexible suspension system allows the panel to be moved for maintenance or simple cleaning.
Isolating a wall from the inside offers greater flexibility than working from the outside, as changes can be applied only to the affected areas of the surface (walls with critical exposure, individual rooms, etc.).
In addition, since the intervention is done from inside the building, there is no need to apply for permits (apart from condominium consent if you are going to act on common parts) and scaffolding is not required for implementation.
Panels
The intervention is carried out by superimposing within the wall surface panels consisting of 3 layers: one of insulating material (glass wool, expanded polystyrene, extruded expanded polystyrene, expanded polyurethane), an aluminum foil that protects against moisture, and a 12.5-mm-thick sheet of gypsum. The panels are attached to the wall by means of a metal structure that acts as an anchor and support.
Limits of interior insulation
This type of intervention undoubtedly improves the insulation capacity of the wall, with all the implementation advantages mentioned above. However, it should be kept in mind that by installing the panels inside, the wall remains exposed to the outside temperature. In the winter months, the heated indoor environment protected by the insulation layer could be in contact with a much colder wall: this could give rise to condensation, causing moisture-related problems such as mold, plaster peeling, etc. The solution to this drawback is to insert a plasterboard infill wall between the wall and the insulation board.
The fire protection system consists of a series of highly fire-resistant components and materials, certified for the construction of various structural elements (walls, counterwalls, false ceilings, cladding, protection and ventilation ducts), which retain the advantages of drywall systems and are therefore suitable for use in all situations.
The basis of fire protection is the quality of coated gypsum sheets: gypsum possesses natural fire resistance characteristics that are amplified by the addition of glass fibers, vermiculite and perlite.
These materials-all-natural-allow for even greater levels of efficiency.
Fire-protection plasterboard cladding, equipped with the widest range of solutions certified according to Swiss and European standards, is a business that is constantly updating and evolving to adapt to market needs.
The raised floor is a system of modular elements intended for the construction of interior and exterior floors in buildings. It is a lightweight and entirely dry construction system, which makes it possible to create, under the walking surface, a continuous technical volume in which to house all the plant engineering: electrical, plumbing, climatic, etc.
Thanks to its flexibility of use, speed of installation, and variety of coverings, this type of technology is ideal for new as well as pre-existing constructions and very effective even in exterior flooring.
CassinaTech SA, thanks to its considerable experience in the field, offers raised floor solutions with excellent performance in terms of strength and durability, considerable aesthetic value and wide customization possibilities, as well as total integrability with other technical finishes such as movable walls and false ceilings.
Gypsum is a material with many qualities: it has good adhesive power, it is fire resistant, it is heat and sound insulating, it is easily workable and allows for fine and smooth surfaces.
All these characteristics make it not only an essential element in plasterboard and insulation panels, but an essential ingredient of plasters for smooth wall finishes, floor underlayments, wallpaper, and more.
His smoothness allows for refined and elegant aesthetic effects, and its versatility can meet the needs of architects, interior-designers and individuals.
This fantastic material is the specialty of CassinaTech SA, which offers any kind of plastering work, from interior wall plastering to finishing of different standards, starting from Q2 levels up to high quality Q4 class carried out under grazing light, guaranteeing a flawless and high-level execution.
Decorative stucco is the finishing touch for those who want to make their environment unique and refined. Our plasterers, true skilled craftsmen, carry out decorations with great attention to detail and with materials of the highest quality, knowing how to satisfy both nostalgic customers who love traditional stucco and those projected toward more modern forms.
