The city of Lucerne has strong, vibrant neighborhoods and cultivates an open culture of welcome.

The Service Department Neighborhoods and Integration with Neighborhood Development, Neighborhood Work, the Integration Office and the SIP, Security Intervention Prevention team is committed to a high quality of life in the neighborhoods and respectful coexistence in public spaces.

With our presence in the neighbourhoods and the specialist units for integration and neighbourhood issues, we are a direct point of contact for the population, especially for children and young people, as well as for civil society organizations. We act as a link to the administration and authorities. With the Projektpool Quartierleben and the Förderung von Integrationsprojekten we support the activities and commitment of third parties.
