The School Support department comprises the school-related counseling and therapy services offered by the City of Lucerne's elementary school.

They are available to children and young people, parents/guardians and teachers as well as other people and authorities involved in school and education who require specialist assistance in the areas of school psychology, school social work, speech therapy, psychomotor skills and central services.

The school support services are free of charge. Their mandate is described in the cantonal ordinance on school services and in municipal concepts.
