Dr. Riccardo Alessio Malan graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery with specialization in Odontostomatology and Otolaryngology from the University of Genoa.

After a stint as a university lecturer, he has been practicing as a Dental Surgeon at his own practices in Italy and, since July 2016, in Switzerland.

Preliminary visit

The Malan Medical Dental Office performs preliminary examinations of different kinds:

- Thorough examination of the oral situation with recording by intraboccal HD camera on patient-dedicated file;

- Digital radiography (overview of the dental arches and, upon request, 3D CT scan of the latest generation).

Dental hygiene and prevention

- Tartar ablation and teeth whitening;

- Root Scaling and Air Flow (with bicarbonate or glycine jet) in periodontal pockets, between gum and tooth.

 

Conservative care

- Obturation with the latest generation of materials with very low toxicity and very high aesthetic value and durability that are light-cured;

- Composite, disilicate and zirconia inlays. Laboratory reconstructions of the missing part of the tooth to which it is cemented.
