Connective Tissue Massage

The technique is discovered in Germany, by medical lecturer Elisabeth Dicke.

Because of sickness she was forced to stay in bed for a long time. Due to decreased circulation she was in danger of losing a lower limb through amputation.

To avoid this fate the Dicke began self-treatment in the lumbar area and then also on the affected leg.

As the circulation increased, she felt a tingling in her leg and thus was able to avoid surgery.

With the different manuals of Connective Tissue Massage we can for example change the posture of a patient.

His reflex effect stimulates the functioning of an internal organ.

By traction on a Dermatomere stimulation of the related Segment (nerve) takes place, which then in turn sends an information to the affected organ.

The Connective Tissue gets its name because of its function.

Connects and separates the various structures from each other for protection, allows movement between one and the other,  gives them their own shape and makes possible the nourishment of them.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

With Manual Lymphatic Drainage we intervene on the body`s water balance.

Danish Biologist Emil Vodder, together with his wife Estrid continued to study and elaborate the facts and techniques already known about the lymphatic system, and then practiced them in a hospital on the French Riviera. Among his patients were mostly citizens of the Nordic countries, because of the often cold and wet weather many suffered from chronic colds.
This gentle and relaxing technique is very popular in beauty institutions. In nursing homes, on the other hand, it is shown to be very valuable in the rehabilitation of a patient after surgery. It speeds up healing considerably and removes edema, which promotes and accelerates overall healing.

Classic Massage

Massage is the oldest form of therapy in existence, practiced by various civilizations for millennia.

It is decontracting, draining, relaxing and toning. Usually performed on the whole body, having rather free maneuvers and sequences, it can also be practiced on individual areas. 
Regular use is recommended to avoid the appearance of muscle tension that can cause discomfort or illness in the future.
