Dr. Marco Castelli
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pavia on September 23, 1988 discussing an experimental thesis entitled "Psychological aspects of breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Investigation on a sample of 55 mastectomized women," reporting the grade of 110/110 cum laude.
From January 1989 to January 1990, she worked at the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pavia (Dir. Prof. Giorgio Boggio Robutti) based at the "Città di Pavia" Nursing Home in Pavia, as an assistant registrar.
From January 1990 to October 1990, he operated at the Division of Plastic Surgery of S. Anna Hospital in Como (Dir. Prof. Alessandro Savani) as an assistant registrar.
From January 1992 to December 1992 he operated at the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the University of Pavia (Dir. Prof. Giorgio Boggio Robutti) based at the Casa di Cura S. Siro in Milan, as an assistant registrar.
From July 1992 to September 1992 he attended the "Fluminense" Clinic of Plastic Surgery in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) as a "resident" physician (Dir.ri Dr. Ronaldo Pontes and Dr. Liacyr Ribeiro).
From January 1993 to December 1993, he practiced at the Department of Plastic, Repair and Aesthetic Surgery and Surgery of the Hand of the University Hospital Center "L. Pasteur" in Nice (France) as a medical assistant (Dir. Prof. E. Lebreton).
He received his Postgraduate Diploma in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the University of Pavia on June 3, 1993 with points 50/50, discussing an experimental thesis entitled "Descriptive anatomy and surgical anatomy of the gluteus maximus muscle; possibility of setting up muscle and musculocutaneous flaps."
He was a member of the Scientific Secretariat of the I International Workshop "Advanced Technologies in Plastic Surgery" held in Varese in June 1992.
He is the author of deverse publications in the field of plastic surgery. He is an adherent member of the Italian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
He is a full member of the European Association of Aesthetic Surgery ASSECE.
He is a full member of the Scientific Committee of the European Association of Aesthetic Surgery ASSECE.
Since 1994, he has been practicing in Aesthetic Surgery: he currently operates in Varese, Appiano Gentile, Lugano, and Bellinzona.
