Servizio Cure a domicilio SCuDo

SCuDo, the Lugano-based public home care and assistance service, is a private association (Art. 60 et seq. CSS). The association is non-denominational and non-partisan, does not pursue profit-making aims, and is recognized as a public utility and, as such, is subsidized by municipalities and the canton.
It was founded at the end of 1999, taking over the activities of the Lugano and Surrounding Areas Home Help Consortium and the Maternal and Child Health Consortium following the introduction of the new Home Care and Assistance Act, which came into force on January 1, 2000, and was updated in 2010.
