Hotel & Gastro Union - The employee organization
The Hotel & Gastro Union has been the employee organization in the Swiss hospitality industry and the bakery, confectionery and pastry sector since 1886. It is actively committed to professional networking, training and further education and social security. Its primary goal is to promote the status of the hospitality professions. The Hotel & Gastro Union has almost 20,000 members and unites five professional associations under its umbrella. These are the Swiss Chefs' Association and the professional associations Service/Restauration, Hotel & Housekeeping, Hotel, Administration & Management and Bakery & Confectionery. Hotellerie Gastronomie Verlag is also integrated with its weekly newspaper and themed magazines, as well as the job platform gastrojob.ch.
