Physiotherapy is a form of therapy used to restore, improve or maintain your body's ability to move and function. Your physiotherapist will draw up a diagnosis on the basis of which a treatment plan is planned. Various active and passive measures are used to try and alleviate your symptoms.

Physiotherapy is prescribed by a doctor. The services are covered by the basic insurance of your health insurance, accident insurance or IV/MV.

Physiotherapists can also provide treatment without a doctor's prescription, but the patient then bears the costs themselves.
