At the Des Alpes care home, the focus is on people. Thanks to attentive treatment and competent care, we ensure the satisfaction of our residents. In addition, we take into account the needs of each individual, create a familiar environment and offer loving attention. We live for the preservation of well-being, whereby everyone receives exactly the level of care they need without restricting personal freedom.

 

Life in everyday life

The Des Alpes nursing home offers a magnificent view of Lake Thun and the unique mountain scenery of the Bernese Oberland. Around the venerable building, a small park with a garden and seating areas invites you to linger. The meticulously designed, well-kept surroundings promote a sense of well-being. The garden with its berry plantations, flower beds and numerous potted plants creates a friendly, natural atmosphere all year round.

 

Gastronomy at Des Alpes

Everyone who wants to enjoy their meal in a family atmosphere and lovingly furnished surroundings is very welcome here. Our gastronomy / kitchen offers traditionally balanced and healthy dishes that meet all requirements. We naturally give preference to regional and seasonal products and incorporate the latest findings on age-appropriate nutrition.

The way to the heart is through the stomach. We continue the tradition of cultivated gastronomy, as it was celebrated in our hotel in earlier decades.

Regular events enrich life in the nursing home. We attach great importance to a variety of activities tailored to the individual needs of our care home family.

Regular events enrich life The Des Alpes nursing home offers residents a variety of activities tailored to the individual needs of the nursing home family. Existing resources are encouraged but not overtaxed. Within this framework, we always respect the privacy of our residents.

Numerous volunteers are involved in our activities. Together with the team, they are committed to a holistic approach. This also includes intergenerational projects, for example by involving schoolchildren or young people from the village.
