Dried meat has a long tradition in many regions of Switzerland. In the past, mountain farmers in particular valued it for its long shelf life. Today, the focus is on taste.

The dried meat from Menzi Metzg is among the best in the canton of Glarus and is known far beyond the canton's borders. Menzi Metzg slaughters the meat itself and only processes meat from Glarus farms. True to the Menzi Metzg credo: respect for life, farmers and tradition.
